Privacy policy

Last updated 30 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information outboundcyber.com handles and why. The site is run by Outbound Strategies LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Outbound Strategies”, “I”, “me”). I am responsible for your information on this site.

What I collect

I keep this short on purpose. The site has no contact form, no newsletter and no advertising.

  • Email. If you write to me, I receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include.
  • Booking. The free consult is booked through a Google Calendar appointment page. Google collects the name, email and details you enter and shares the booking with me. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.
  • Server logs. The site runs on WordPress. The web host records standard technical data when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This keeps the site secure and working.

I do not use analytics or tracking tags on these pages. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads, under Google’s own privacy policy. WordPress may set a small number of cookies needed for the site to function.

Why I use it

  • To reply to you and hold the consult you booked.
  • To run a client engagement if you hire me.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

My legal bases are: taking steps you ask for before a contract, performing a contract, and my legitimate interest in running a secure website and replying to messages.

Sharing

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with the services that run the site and the booking (the web host and Google), with professional advisers where needed, or when the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards.

How long I keep it

I keep personal information as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, then delete it. Client records are kept as long as the engagement and any legal or tax duties require.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under EU and UK data protection law and US state privacy laws, you can ask me to:

  • tell you what information I hold about you and give you a copy
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • stop or limit using it, or object to how I use it

You can also complain to your local data protection authority. I would appreciate the chance to fix it first.

To make a request, email jordan@outboundcyber.com. I will answer within the time the law allows and may need to confirm who you are.

Security

I protect the information I hold with the same controls I set up for clients, including multi-factor sign-in and encrypted devices. No system is perfectly secure, so I cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong.

Changes

If I change how I handle personal information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
